“The show will take the audience through the highs and lows of love, showing the uncomfortable truths, honesty, awkwardness and unexpected twists.” Briggs said, “I want the audience to take away that even though love is universal, there is no perfect formula to it.”
Fourth Wall is Quinnipiac's only fully student-led theater organization.
Productions allow students to take on leadership roles both on- and offstage. The culture within the Fourth Wall community has been described as a welcoming, supportive and passionate group by the cast and crew.
The co-lighting director for the show, Ryan Poisson ‘29, DPT ‘32, said, “Working with a group of talented actors who can make me laugh and smile is my favorite thing about being a member of Fourth Wall.”
The opportunities provided by Fourth Wall are highlighted by Briggs, who has been able to explore many different aspects of theater through being in the organization.
“Some of my favorite moments have been watching each scene evolve from my original vision to something even better,” she said. “Directing this show has shown me that theater is much more than what is happening on stage, but it’s about the people, relationships and memories that are created throughout the entire process.”
Shows will take place on November 13 at 7:30 p.m., November 14 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and November 15 at 2 p.m. at the Theatre and Arts Center.
Tickets are available through the Fourth Wall Instagram and are free for students.
