Our School of Health Sciences is welcoming new faculty this year.

Amy Butcher — Clinical Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies

Amy Butcher worked as a physician assistant (PA) in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit at South Shore University Hospital of Northwell Health in New York, and was at Baylor College of Medicine, St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas before. She served as a PA student mentor at Baylor College of Medicine, PA preceptor for students from Touro PA School, Hofstra University and Baylor's St. Luke’s Medical Center. She published four peer-review research manuscripts, earned her masters in physician assistant studies from Baylor College of Medicine and bachelors in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University, College Station.
